Will the 05 factory Z71 17" wheels handle the high pressure of an "E" load rated tire??

 

yes depending on size. i have 295/70/17 load "d" right now

 

ok i was concerned with breaking the rims with an 80 psi tire, ive seen it happen before on some aftermarket wheels. not that i need that much tire, but they dont cost all that much and tow really nice.

 

I never even considered it when I got my new rims,but you have a valid point. I guess I'll find out the hard way if MOTOs can handle it...

...And I think you are going to L O V E those E-radials! After I bought my first pickup, I never bought another car; after my last two sets of E-radials, it's doubtful I'll ever buy another type of tire.
