Just bought one and need to order a brake controller for it but before I order the Reese/Draw-tite Activator II Brake Controller, can you tell me if this truck's towing package includes being pre-wired to receive the controller?

the truck will have a spot under the dash to plug a wiring harness straight into the truck, if your contrioller has the option to plug a harness into the back of it, and not have pig tails sticking out, Reece should sell a harness that plugs straight into the controller and then plugs straight into the truck, so you dont have to do any splicing, this is how it is on my 07, and my father inlaw just sold his 05 3500 and it plugged straight in, there might also be a wiring harness under the back seat by the jack that you can also splice your brake controller into, and that just plugs straight into the truck if the previous owner didnt move it or throw it out or keep it. if you want picks let me know and I can take a pick of where it plugs in and post it, hopefully this helps you
