Personally im not real big on v6 or 4cyl with exhaust i dont like the way they sound but the flowmaster 40 series is probably and arguably the best sounding muffler out there. i would not go with the 44, ive never personally heard it but what ive read it is alot louder than the 40 series. i think you would be happy with a 40. just go to your local muffler shop and they can bend all the pipes and use a 40 series. mine only cost about $380 installed.

The super 40 is suppose to be louder, but both will peoples attention. A single in single out will be okay, its what ever you need to get the exhaust you want. Have you found any kits online for your truck?
