The cruise control on my 07 silverado works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. Theres no way to tell when it will or won't. Does anyone know what may cause this?

 

I'm no expert, but I would start with checking the fuse for the ABS system. For some reason the fuse for the ABS breaks is also tied in with the cruise control. Maybe it's loose or something?

I found this out when my break light came on due to my ABS soleniod going out. I thout if I pulled the fuse the light would go away and it does but you lose the cruise control and ani-lock brakes. In my truck its one of the larger fuses.

 

Thanks for the advice. I checked the fuses and they seemed to be fine, but I took them out and put them back in just in case they were loose so we will see what happens.
