08 Chevy Silverado Emissions
i have a 08 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L that has the check engine light on. I have gone to autozone and that is what the computer was reading. I have replaced the fuel cap, cleaned the throttle body, and cleaned up the air filter. Without bringing it to the dealership and spending $105 and 2 hours for them to tell me its some $30 part does any one have any suggestions on what i should do? I cleaned the throttle body today so i know there may be a chance that it needs to run through some cycles and get some miles on it before the computer may recognize that the problem no longer exist.

It sounds like you have an EVAP leak. You can end up spending $300 in parts, guessing. Take it to an independent repair shop that has a smoke machine.
