Default 08 ltz 5.3 1500 tranny problems

Hello I recently pulled a 29 ft rv for about 2 hours. The next day I noticed that my truck ran funny. As if it's not going into overdrive. Anyone have any ideas

ok if ur lucky trans fluid foamed, went out vent line, your low on fluid just fill it check user manual to fill trans fluid just below fill line (don't overfill! don't try to get right on line) if you overheated and aren't lucky who knows. won't go in OD could mean a solenoid is jammed. a sensor. maybe part wear. can't say right off i don't hvae much tow experience if you suspect foam/old/bad trans fluid do a drain and fill give it a little new/slipper fluid at least

for the future make sure you have good and properly filled fluid before tow and check manual or ask dealer if you need a tow package (good trans cooler) or smell the flowers when you stop for gas let it cool is your trans fluid all brown and have a burnt smell ? i didn't think so.
