i have an 2008 silverado v6 4.3 1500 single cab
issue i am having is the cruise control has an intermittent problem. it works when it wants to. when i first start the truck and go on the freeway it works fine but after a few more minuets it stops. turn it off and on and hit set but it will not work. then i try again and it will either work or not work. i pull up on the brake pedal to see if it has been sticking but I'm not sure. anyone having the same issue.

Had the exact same problem. Changed out the brake light switch and now have CC all the time. It's not the pedal sticking but the cheaply built factory brake light switch that sticks and/or wears out
