I would like to know which bolts I need to remove so I can slide the bed a few inches, so I can get my hand in between the cab and bed. It looks like to me there might be 6 bolts. Has anyone tried to do this? Wondering if it's that easy to remove a few bolts so I can slide it back a couple inches.

Yes there are 6 bolts. Moving the bed is the preferred way to replace a fuel pump. If you move it very far dont forget to disconnect the wiring.

 

Thanks for commenting. Do you think I'd have to disconnect the wiring, if I'm just planning on moving it a few inches? I just need to get my hand back there, so I can put a nut on a bolt.

Probably not,but Ill bet I would figure out a way to get the nut on without all this. Tape it to an extention and turn ther bolt?????
