08 silverado check engine light blinking

Default 08 silverado check engine light blinking
V8 5.3 liter. Seems to be misfiring. Check engine light comes on with every hill on the highway. Blinks on the hill and then goes off a couple minutes later. Any suggestions as to where the problem originates?

Sounds like a coil breaking down when engine is under a load. Also remove the plug and check for carbon tracking
