Default 1500 truck 350 to 305 Swap

I want to swap a locked up 350 in an 89 Silverado 1500 4x4 automatic truck out for a great running 305 from a 95 Cheyenne 1500 2wd 5speed. I know you guys would call this a downgrade, but this gives me a way to have a 4x4 for $1100 so I think it's worth the trouble. The 89 has a good interior and body. It's a reg cab short bed. All is good except for the engine and a door hinge. The 95 has a bent frame and trashed interior, but the engine sounds very good. I expect the 305 to have sufficient power and save on gas milage compared to the 350.
I've searched the site and it seems that it's a straight forward swap, but I wanted to make sure since I haven't seen a post about this kind of downgrade. What all should I worry about in this swap?
1. injectors?
2. sensors?
3. module?
4. chip?
5. auto vs 5 speed?
I've never swapped an engine before so any help is greatly appreciated.

like you say, pretty straight forward swap. computers, wire harness, injectors, all should be same. yank 350, drop in 305, hook it all up, and go.

@ nauticstar87,

I'm not sure what TC stands for, but I assume it has to do with transmission. So you think the auto tranny needs the 350 flywheel? Are they different sizes to where the housing won't fit?

Thanks.

by TC i assume hes referring to the torque converter, and im not sure about the trucks but i have a 305 in my camaro and i was looking at putting a 350 in but the computer and harness from the 305 arent compatible so im just going with a carbureted 327.

the 350 and 305 computers have different plugs, like i said, not sure if thats the case with the trucks too, but its something to look into.
