Default 18 inch z71 rims on regular cab silverado

Hello guys, I plan on installing some new 18 inch z71 wheels on my 2007 regular cab silverado (2wd). I was wondering if anyone has had any problems after installing them and if anyone has any pics of them on their truck.

Thx

Well, by Z71 rims, do you mean wheels with 6 lug nuts?
I believe that z71 which is an off road package comes with 6 lugs
While trucks without the off road package have 5 lug nuts.
So I would just confirm how many lug nuts your truck wheels have
And the wheels you are buying should be the same

Yup
The 2nd question is what size are the wheels.
If they are over 265 I would just make sure you have clearance
Or you may need to add a liftkit.

I believe the tires are 265-65-18.

Same body style as the truck they come off so you should be just fine with it. I've seen the swap done a few times

I have a 2004 Silverado that came from the factory with 16" rims, but the previous owner put on 17-inchers from a truck that had the Z71 package. No problems at all, except for my truck's speedometer being off a little bit.

If my speedometer indicates 70 mph, I am really traveling 74 mph. At a displayed 60 mph, I am going 63. At lower speeds, the error is less significant.

Any tire shop should have a manual that shows every vehicle on the road, what tires came with it and all of the optional tires that will fit without any alteration (since you don't want the tire rubbing the body when you turn). Full-size trucks tend to have large wheel wells, so you should be okay unless you really go to a monster tire!
