HOW DO YOU TELL IF YOU HAVE A TRUE SILVERADO OR NOT I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK AND IT HAS ALL NEW TRIM AND I KNOW U CAN BUY EMBLUMS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A SILVERADO SO I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THERE WAS A SPECIAL VIN NUMBER THAT WILL INSURE ME I HAVE A SILVERADO AND NOT A CUSTOM OR ANYTHING ELSE

 

Second cowl tag today. It could be in the vin, or could be on the cowl tag. Get the numbers decoded from the vin, if that dosen't indicate that, look on the firewall for a tag. That should give you trim, color ect.
