Default 1986 Silverado Carb issues

I have a 86' silverado k10 with a 305, 700R4, and original carburetor.
I believe the choke linkage may not be correct because the motor will die when pressing the accelerator while driving.
Can someone show me how the choke linkage should look?
thank you

Welcome from Florida. You may need to rebuild that old carb. Hope this helps.

Look at the choke plate. Also, is this a hot or electric choke?
