Hey guy's does anyone know If i can still connect a remote start for my truck. I dont have power door locks and its carburetor motor. Im thinking of doing it myself because its a cheap truck & I dont want to spend money. Found a couple cheap remote start kit's on ebay. All help needed thanks

 

if the carb has an electric choke and truck starts fine in colder weather then yes you can hook one up very simply. you don't need power accessories to use remote start, the starting portion is all in the ignition wiring under the dash and it's fairly easy to wire up.

 

how well does it start without pumping the gas pedal first?
