Default 1990 k15/350 motor overheat sensor?

I have a 1990 chevy k15 with the stock 350 motor. the motor still runs great, but I'm having a problem whenever I tow. After towing, once I shut truck off, it will not start right up. I have to wait 15-20 minutes before it will start. NO click on starter, no turn over, still have power to lights and electric items. I can drive the truck all week (without trailer) and it always starts up even if i shut it off and start right away. Is there an overheat sensor or something? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
