Hey guys am going to look at 1991 k1500 swb flare side tomorrow and am just wondering what are some usual problems to look for in these models etc? I have a 1990 Bronco (i know ford guy posting on a chevy forum ) and we are trading even. thanks for any help, some info on the truck: it has a 350 (thank god) that's "new" he says PO put it in, and a new transmission that he put in, interior is blue with dvd radio in middle of dash, camo headliner and seat covers. he also claims no rust

 

With a new motor and tranny they should be ok for at least 200000 miles. If anything is going to sht out on you in the near future it will be fuel sending unit, and possibly some other miscellaneous general maintenance things.

 

what should i look at with the 6 inch lift? im familiar with TTB and SAS but not with chevy's IFS so what can i look for to make sure it was done with quality?

 

Honestly, I could not tell you, not a lifted kind of guy my self.
