1991 Silverado Air Conditioning Replacement
Just got back from the mechanic.
My A/C light on my dash has been blinking on/off and the compressor has been refusing to run. I can disconnect the battery and the system will work fine but after a few days the same thing will happen. Found out today that the compressor and resistor is shot. They stated that the best option would be to replace the system with an R-134 system.
Is this a job I could do myself? If so, does anyone know of any go-bys online or know exactly what I need to do? I am always tinkering with different projects on my truck but have never attempted to mess with the AC unit so I am a little timid to dive into this project blind.
