1992 K1500 Block Heater Hiss
Hi, this is my first time posting on this forum. I have what may be a problem with my block heater. When I got up this morning to start the truck, I heard a hissing sound coming from the engine, almost like a leaking tire. It stopped as soon as I unplugged the block heater.
Is this normal or something to be concerned about? It gets pretty cold here, so the block heater gets a lot of use this time of year. My truck is a 1992 Chevy Cheyenne, 4WD, 5.7L/350 V8. I'd sure appreciate any help you guys can give me.
