I have a 1993 2500 truck with the doors not closing tight. I have read about grinding the hole with the striker but noticed if you leave the door open and close the latch, it has some slop so it has to contribute to the overall slop. Can someone try this with their truck that the door closes tight and verify if it is the expensive latch or just needs a striker adjustment.
