Default 1993 Silverado leaking oil, need help!

Hello I have a 1993 chevy silverado that is leaking oil. I know where (see pics) I just need to know if there is a gasket there and if so what part number it is. Also anyone else have problems leaking here? Or know if I can take that piece off that the oil filter is??? If all else fails could I just weld he **** out of the area?? The truck is junk if I can't get this fixed.

Thanks for the info guys!!!!

I would about bet my left arm there's a gasket there, if there's fluids, there's got to be a gasket. Just take it off and look. All Chevrolet's leak oil. In my opinion they don't run right if they don't leak oil.

Are you sure its leaking from there or is it draining down from the oil filter. Clean the area and get all the oil off, then drive it around and see where the oil is coming from. All you can see right now is months worth of oil leakage buildup, its hard to tell exactly where its coming from.

I ran the engine and observed the oil coming from that location. I assume there is a gasket there, but does anyone know what part number or where I could find one to fit that area? Also I bought the truck new, but it appears to me that this might be an oil filter relocation kit? Anyone else think that? I looked for pics of the same egnine to confirm that with no luck.

Thanks again guys!!!!
