Smile 1994 chevy 1500

Hello i have a problem and dont know where to start i put a 1st gen chevy 350 motor in my 94 1500 my motor has a mechanical fuel pump but the truck has electric pump in gas tank what should i do should i get a mechanical sending unit for gas tank or what and what vehicle should i get the sending unit to fit a 1500 gas tank?

i may be wrong, but im pretty sure it will still suck up the fuel

yea it will but i believe you will have to install a fuel pressure reducer regulator to drop the fuel pressure from 34psi in the tank to 7psi at the mechanical fuel pump. This was why Cadillac put 2 fuel pumps in the cars in the late 70s early 80s. One in the tank pusshing 34 and one in the fuel rail pushing 17psi.
