On a 1994 K1500 W/T, is there a light that lights up when you engage the 4X4? I started the truck and moved the lever to 4X4HIGH but there was nothing to say if it was engaged or not. I do not have it registered or insured yet just recently purchased it. So I did not move it with 4X4 on. Would this matter? Also, when I turn the key on, without starting it, there is no light on the dash that lights up. Thanks in advance. Keith

 

usually on the floor shifter the pic of the front wheels lights in 4 wheel and goes off when you put it in 2 wheel

Thanks againx1cn18 that is what happens. I guess I didn't see it in the daylight but when i just checked it (8:31 P.M.) I saw it.

 

not a problem ive rewired a few of them for some friends that ripped out the harness after a drunken night in the mud
