1995 1500
my speedometor and tack does not work just recently then your driveing and the truck willshift itself intooverdrive and it all works .Also when backing up putting it into drive before complete stop will really put it in gear harder than a soft motion like the truck is in 2nd or 3rd gear could linckage be out or speed cable. thanks gary

If both your tach and speedo are out, then it is probably a bad connection. All these trucks are electronic, no cables.Thetrans is electronic, no mechanical linkage.The gauge cluster comes out easy in less than ten minutes,then you will be able check those connections and for bad wires. Hope this helps.
