Default 1995 chevy 1500 4x4 balljoint

i need to replace the lower driver side balljoint on my truck.. i called advanced they said there is a screwin (bolt in?) type and a press in. does anyone know which it has.. its a 95 silverado 4x4 z71

You need to look at it to see, it could be either way. The original maybe riveted it in which case you would need the bolt in.

from what i can see..its only got 1 bolt and its thru the center of the balljoint with a hex nut on the end..if that helps at all..lol

That is the type my 95 Tahoe had on it, just a typical tapered stud with a threaded end and a split nut on the end.

You need the press in style. To do the job properly you must have a ball joint press

damn..i dont have a press or anything like that lol.. the guys at advanced said it was a bolt in type..(dumbasses) is why i asked u guys...thx for the help guys..
