Default 1996 c1500 trailer wiring

Hey everyone new to the forum. I just picked up a 1996 c1500. It has from what I can tell a factory hitch since there are no after market names on it. But it does not have the trailer light connector. My question is I see a bunch of wires not connected to anything and just bundled together and electric taped off. I assume these are the wires for the trailer wiring. Can someone tell me how many, and what color the wires should be for the trailer wiring so I can be forsure before connecting to a trialer lights?
