hey guys i have a slight issue that i have noticed after a recent rebuild where when i slow down and come around a corner then re-apply acceleration the truck stays in 3rd and does not want to downshift to 2nd even with the pedal on the floor. If i take my foot off the pedal and apply gas again it seems to "reset" itself.

Any clue what this might be??

 

Since the problem didn't arise until after the transmission work, do ya suppose your rebuilder put a "shift kit" in this guy?

One of two things: either the hydraulic bias is out of whack or the TPS needs looking at.
