Im about to attempt to replace my driver side window motor. the window is a scissor design. Anyone have any ideas of what to watch for.

 

if there is a way you need to cage the regulator if you value your fingers, I don't remember if a 96 is the same way as a 93 but if not caged when the motor is removed the spring pressure released is very violent
