1997 Chevrolet 1/2 ton V6 p/u truck hard to start in the morning
My p/u hard to start in the morning (hot or cold), I have to crank little bit then shutdown (long cranking won't help), then crank again, take a few time before it start, if sit over the weekend then it take even longer to start. It have about 54 psi fuel pressure and holding when turn the key off. Ignition look fine (cap, rotor, plug, plug wire replace last year and I pull plug out it look normal), after it start it will start easy and running fine during the day until next morning. Engine lit not on, so no scan code, please help.

Had the same symptoms on my 95'. Worked on it as you have and finally
found oxidation on the ECM and ENG fuse blades. Polished it off and the
truck started normal for about a week and then the problem came back.
Comparing the pull force of the other fuses in the box realized that
the two above named fuse holders had relaxed, apparently from heat
generated from the electron flow. I tweaked them with a tiny screwdriver
and applied a film of bulb grease and the problem has never returned in
four years since.
