1997 K1500 fires but won't start
Hey all, hoping someone out there can help me diagnose this....
Working on my sons truck 4x4 , 350 vortec just wouldn't start. Couldn't hear the fuel pump. Put some fuel down the throat and it would fire but not stay running so assumed fuel pump. Put in a new one & new fuel filter. Still won't start. I have 15 psi at the fuel line port on top of the engine. What should the pressure be going into the throttle body?
I borrowed an engine code reader and it comes back with several codes which from what I can tell shouldn't keep it from starting they are: P0138, P0140, P0141, P0160 & P0161. The truck doesn't have cataletic convertors (he cut them off) so I think most of these codes are related to that.
I have read threads that talk about the distributor module or the knock sensor causing symptoms similar to what I am seeing. Anybody got any suggestions for solutions?

It is a Bosch fuel pump. I pulled it out last night and double checked all the fitting (internal to the tank). It all looks good. I'm returning it for a replacement today cause I can find no other reason for the low fuel pressure.
Anything other than AcDelco or Delphi have almost 85% failure rate in the first year. Bosch is not very good at all. Not the first time I have heard of Bosch not working correctly out of the box.
