I have a 1997 Chevy silverado with 6 inch lift And 35 inch tires. I am wanting to make it louder. It currently has dual inlet dual outlet flowmaster 40. I also have a 91 silverado with lift and everything that is my mud truck and I am running in stock class it has straight pipes on it and sounds good but I have to run mufflers what can I do?

 

Run true dual flowmaster 10 mufflers.

For your 97? Depends on how loud you want it, super 10's are pretty loud, they'd be great for both trucks just depends on what you prefer.

 

Any idea on a programmer or anything or better gas mileage?

 

One thing i did to my 1996 k1500 was clean the throttle body and Mass Airflow Sensor and that seemed to make a huge difference. Change your air filter, fuel filter and spark plugs and stuff it could probably use it anyway, you will probably see a huge difference from all of that and its all really easy. As far as programmers or something i'm not sure, try one and let me know how it is
