I just bought a 97 Silverado z71 for a hunting/project truck. It has the automatic door locks that lock when you crank the truck and unlock when you cut it off. Or atleast that's what they're supposed to do. When you turn the ignition forward and crank the truck they will lock like they are supposed to do but when you turn the ignition back to turn the truck off it doesn't unlock the truck. It makes the noise like it is unlocking the truck but it will still be locked. And you can't manually pull the lock up into the unlock position and the door be unlocked, you have to press the unlock with the automatic unlock switch and then you can get out. It's almost like something is wired backwards, I'm just not sure what. Thanks in advance for any help.
