Default 1997 Silverado Fuel Filter Issues

I have a 1997 Silverado the fuel filter continues to go bad. Changes the fuel filter will start with in 8 hours, but then it won't start anymore. Changed to another filter same scenario. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Precluding subpar knock-off parts, extermely poor luck, or botched repairs, maybe you need to replace the electrical connector as well. See TSB #04-06-04-088C: Replacement of Connector When Replacing Fuel Tank Module/Fuel Pump Module - 1996-2003 Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe - August, 2006. There's a PDF copy on https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx...0AAD91B49!2086.
