I have a 1998 chevy 1500 5.7l 135,000 miles it has just recently been giving me problems. It will start and run srong up until the temp guage gets half way to 210 degrees then it wont rev past 2,000 rpm and it will eventually get to the point of stalling out. I have replaced the fuel filter and checked the pressure which is 55 psi steady. Also brand new mass air flow sensor. It threw a code for cadalidic inefficiency so i gutted the cats and still no fix so any suggestions would be amazing.
