i have a 00 chevy silverado and im having issues with running while driving. it can idle but when i throw it in gear and try to drive off it just bogs down and dies. anyone know what it could be.

First off- "Service engine light soon" blinking? If so run a diagnostics test.
Plan b- New fuel pump, they are about the only part thats not "Like a Rock..."
Plan c- Check with your mechanic about aftermarket parts, these can sometimes throw codes.
Plan Wait what goes after c?- Try cleaning/replacing o2 sensors, we have a 6.0 work truck that we thought needed a whole new engine, it ended up being that the o2 sensor that runs into the exhaust system was about as clogged as taco bell bathroom...
