Need a bit of Help on this one .. 2000 chevy silverado 5.3 L Auto trans..
I was heading to work before Day break and was meeting some Cars .. I dimed the lights and then when the cars Passed i brightend the head lights back up .. Now Thats all i have ,, I have installed a relay ( under the Hood)
And installed a new dimmer switch ( 275 bucks) Ouch!! with all that .. it dident change any thing .. Still got Bright Lights .. No dim ..
I dont know where else to look .. Has anyone had this problem ? I need some Ideals .. O yea .. No warning lights on the dash.. so no code to read

so your low beam headlights are really bright? or what?

 

His brights stay on, and low beams don't work.

 

could be a problem with the multifunction lever? or wiring is crisscrossed?

 

i have a 2000 model and that happen to me.

my truck is the low dollar 2500 series so it has single headlights on each side, the low beam also is the running light.

I had no low beams, looked for a problem,

problem: both low beams has burned out as they are the running lights, all I had to do was replace both bulbs.

Hope your problem is this easy to fix.
