i have a 2000 sierra halfton reg cab shortbed. i have 5 cracks and two of them repaired. am i the only one havingthis problem? seemslike a manufacturer issue. i have googled recalls and such but no answers..what can i do? i mean i cant just sell it for nothing!

 

I have a 2000 z71 frame is cracked and weak by the drive side torsion bar rear bracket . I havent got it fixed yet. I do plow snow with this truck though and thought that was the cause plus driving in the salt for 10 years.

 

How long have you had the truck and what kind of conditions do you normally drive in? Are the cracks all near one area or are they spread out around the frame?
