2000 silverado 5.7 fuel pump problems!
Have just replaced the fuel pump and now there is no power to the new pump...fuel pump relay have been checked and check out good...is there some kind of fuel shut off switch somewhere..anything would help....i just know I am missing something somewhere...

You might have done this already, but did it blow a fuse? Stupid suggestion but it happens all the time. It just happend to me today working on a Cummins ISX, we went to start it and NOTHING. It blew all 3 fuses that were on the line for the starting controls. We looked at everything else before the fuses.
