2000 Silverado Not Heating Like it Should
I just bought my first Chevrolet Silverado...2000 model with 80,000 miles. 4x4 extended cab Z71 package. I noticed that it seems to not heat as well as I think it should. The coolant reservoir is full and the heater core hoses are both pretty warm to the touch. When I rev the engine it does seem to blow warmer air. I replaced the cabin filters last week so I know that isn't it. Thermostat going bad?? Any suggestions are welcomed. I have another suggestion, but would like to hear what you guy's mention. TIA

Check the blend door and Temperature Valve Actuator.
There is another thread with an older truck that had similar issues. This link might be helpful in troubleshooting your problem, even though the vehicle is older than yours the information could help.

Thanks. I actually have a couple blend door acutator's going bad (clicking noise passenger side). It goes away after a couple days, but when I switch to the interior air, both outside and interior air clicks. I hope all that makes sense. Would this cause luke warm air?
