I need to know which socket the wiring harness plugs into for my brake controller for my 2000 Silverado. I know it plugs in under the dash near the parking brake.

 

there should be a black plastic box with a plastic acorn nut holding it on i believe under the cover it will say were to plug it in ,but the tap plug will only plug in one place and the harness will exit out the opening in the left bottom corner .

 

which brake controller are you using - some are direct plug n play and some are universals that you have to hardwire
