Can anyone give me a good idea of what kind of gas milage I can get out of any 2001-2004 2500HD 6.6L diesel? How about chipped/ with mods?

 

A friend of mine has a 2500 4x4 95 with a 6.5 turbo desiel. (cab and a half, ong box) He says he gets about 17 mpg. The new ones are supposed to be better, and if your careful of what you add you will be able to improve you milage and power. The desiel aftermarket is really starting to take off now. Especially for the newer diesels.

 

I am averaging 15 MPG city, and 18-19 highway...pulling my 5th wheel about 10mpg on average
