2001 Silverado 4.3 ignition module?
New to forum... didn't see anything in the search, please help.
my 2001 Silverado 4.3L V6 will not start. It cranks over, the fuel pressures up, but no spark, not a single pop. It showed a slight sign of hesitation the last it ran.
Ignition module?

I had the same issue about 6 mo. ago. I skipped real bad and then popped. It wouldn't refire but would turn over and over. I replaced the ignition coil and it started right up!
Got it running yesterday. The cap and rotor were completely oxidized from sitting for a month without being used. Now I have a spare ignition module to put on e-bay.
Hi, Bought a 99 with the 4.3 and it wont start. The guy i bought it from said it was the starter and i just replaced that. Still not starting. I can hear the engine turn over. I think i may have a timing problem? but this truck has been sitting a while too. Where is the cap and rotor for starting?
Also does anyone have the fireing order for a 1999 Silverado with a v6? i need to know the block order, looking at it from left to right or anyway anyone knows it, also what is the cap order? Thanks a lot. Eric
