2001 siverado 2500hd flexplate

Have a cracked flexplate in my 6.0 ext cab. How hard to change in driveway? How long to do? Repair shop wants $900. Retired and have more time than money. Thanks.

You have to remove the transmission. In your drive way will be 1-2 day job. On a lift with all the correct tools and using air tools 4-5 hours
