2002 5.3 Z71
I am new to this forum and really need some help.My truck really idles rough when it is cold at first start. I have been told it had some injector problems.I do not have a lot of faith in this suggestion, so what else could it be? I have just replaced the plugs and have ran some seafoam through it. All help will be appreciated.

i think you need to get her to any parts store and have them scope for error codes, instead of guesspairing - repairing on a guess.
seafoam did not do the trick, hah? unheard of.... strong medicine, very strong.
scope for codes, post, help will come.

I had the code read a while back and it read a lean condition on bank one.I know this could be clogged injestors. My thinking was an injector would run rough all the time (cold or hot).I do not have a clue that is why I am here asking for help.I know the injectors are expensive.I am an avid Chevrolet person never owned nothing else, but this truck has been a real junker, at 107000 miles.

how while back was while back? lean condition points towards MAF sensor, as far as i remember. please, run CURRENT diagnostic and post here.

The light does not stay on b/c the problem is not constant. Listen, your intake gaskets are leaking when they are cold.
Fuel trim will maxout at +25 attempting to fix the lean condition. It can not. This is when your 'Check Engine' light comes on w/a stored lean code.
As the engine warms up the intake gaskets start swelling. As they seal up the computer notices that it is overfueling & begins bringing the fuel trim back down. Now the computerthinks it is in control of the air/fuel ratio b/c it can see changes in the O2's as it moves the fuel trim around. To the computer everything is normal, 'Check Engine' light is commanded off.
Please do not go to AutoZone & let them sell you a MAF sensor, 8 injectors&3 o2's.
