I have a 2000 silverado LT 2500 4x4 with a 6.0L engine. I want to know if a 2002 6.0L with drop in without any major changes required? My engine has that problem ticking knock and has for longer than I think it should have been. Also exhaust manifold bolts are breaking off all by them self, go figure. Is the 2002 model a better engine or should I pull and rebuild my original?
