Default 2002 Duramax questions

Hey guys im new to the site, but not chevrolet! I'm hoping some of you duramax owners can help me out. I own a 2009 2500 that is babied and not driven on gravel or when it rains, pretty much my show truck. But im looking for an older duramax to do some hauling and hunting with. I came across a 2002 crew cab duramax.

Heres the description: A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Duramax Diesel Crew Cab 4x4 with 202,xxx miles. The pickup has newer paint job, windshield, and glow plugs. It also has leather seats, power seats & windows, air conditioning, tilt and cruise. The topper is selling with the pickup as well. This has been a fantastic vehicle for me and i have all the paperwork on everything that has ever been done to it from oil changes to tire rotations to when it was painted and so on and on and on.

Seems like a real nice pickup but the high mileage kind of scares me. I can get this pickup for around $11,000.....Thoughts?!

202,000 on a duramax is just getting warmed up. If the truck has been properly maintained and what not then you got a lot of miles to go.

Like said 202k on a diesel is nothin, but with that year duramax, look for injector problems to happen. They were horrible for lb7's. see if you can find when they were last replaced

If it's not smoking and runs right then it sounds like a good buy
