2002 silverado

Considering trading in my 1998 Silverado for a 2002 Silverado 250 with 6L engine what would be a resonable expectation for miles per gal.

most people i ask say 11-12 mpg around town and about 16 hwy.

that sounds pretty close. however the ratting on the window is not close to what they actualy get it is set by the epa and is not tested on the roads
