2002 Silverado Z71 4wd problem

2002 Silverado Z71 4wd problem
I'm having a problem with my 4wd on my z71. I can engage my 4wd but if my tires start spinning, there is a horrible clicking noise in the front end. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix the problem?
