My father's truck was in perfect running shape until he let it sit this winter. Now it won't go into gear, inluss you put it in gear before starting it. When its in gear the clutch will disengage when the pedal is fully compressed to the floor, but will allow you to shift when the pedal is only halfway pressed. When we looked at the physical clutch underneath the truck, it appears the pressure plate is moving in the right direction as the pedal is pressed, then before the pedal is completely to the floor, the plate starts moving back the way it came. Any ideas what the problem is? Thanks. The truck has 65000 miles on it. We tried to bleed the system at the bleeder located in the engine bay, but it didn't fix anything. And we could not locate any bleeder on the clutch.
