I have a 2500 hd we went for a 7 hour trip and the engine intermittently dies for a mila second 2 to 5 times when driving it has an 6.0 with an electric throttle ,had it on computer twice nothing coming up ,does anyone have or know what the issue might be

 

i have same truck that dies or hesitates when driving and restarts. sometimes dies then restarts after a few minutes, sometimes runs good no problem. no codes are showing and no check engine light, fuel pump test good. i believe it to be the fuel pump is going out

 

My sister had a similar problem with another GM car. Hers had an intermittent starting problem. That is the problem with fuel pumps. When they get intermittent like that, there really is no real easy way to diagnose it.

 

could be a ton of things, without a code or being there hard to say, is it with cruise set ?

 

rjg. when my truck dies i know it happens sometimes when the cruise is set, i am not sure if evertytime it happens to die that the cruise is set. i know that one time it died or hesitated and the cruise did not work until i stopped the truck at a stoplight about 15 minutes or 15 miles later. when i proceeded then the cruise worked again. i changed fuel pump a couple of days ago and still dies out.?
