Hi there,

Just bought this truck this past Saturday, I love it alot but tonight on my way home I noticed that the speedometer was stuck at about 30 mph. When I am going faster then 30 mph it works fine, but it seems to stop at that point.

I know next to nothing about vehicles, I am thinking it might be just a wire or something. I have warranty on it but I don't feel like going all the way back to the dealership if its something as simple as a loose wire. Any advise? I don't even know where to look for the wire(s). Thanks.

 

if it was a loose wire it wouldnt work at all i would go back to the dealer it will be the easiest thing to do

 

My 03 did the same thing, its under warranty as a recall, get er fixed for free. If it was a wire, it would not work at all. I cant count the # of times I have herd this problem.
